Can anyone give me the name of a loan company or companies, that offers fixed rate long term loans? I'm not looking for home equity loans as I don't have a home. They must be listed with the BBB and have a legitimate website and business. I'm not looking for Joe's fly by night loan company. I don't want to have to declare bankruptcy.
go to your local bank and get a personal line of credit…much like a home equity line…but you need no home or assets in your name.
I have really bad credit, I am in debt and I already have a home equity loan.. where can I go for help?? I want to avoid bankruptcy. Please help.
Call the American Consumer Counseling Center - unlike a lot of those "debt solution" places, this is a non-profit and won't take your money. They can give you some great counseling and advise you on the best options for your particular situation.

With 150k income, and a 400k mortgage with no equity we want to consolidate 75k in consumer debt. We have a good credit rating, just too much debt. What are our best options and who can we go to for help?
Generally, the only way any financial institution will do this is with a Home Equity Loan.
Finding a $75k unsecured personal loan would be next to impossible and, if you did, the interest rate may be higher than the credit cards.
